Welcome all to NEPA YOGA FESTIVAL! Whether this is your first time here or you're a seasoned vet, I am glad you're joining us this year! My name is Amanda Corcoran, and I'll be teaching flow and grow. I have been a registered 200-hour Vinyasa yoga instructor through the Yoga Alliance since 2023. Since then, I have also been certified in restorative yoga. One of my favorite aspects of teaching yoga is witnessing over time the growth we all experience in life. From the hoorays to the tribulations that add to our journeys here together. There is something that each of us can truly connect to. When im not teaching yoga, I am a full-time student working on receiving my LCSW. Being allowed to teach at NEPA has provided me so much joy, I hope you find that joy within yourself as well.

NEPA is a small but powerful wellness festival that is in the beautiful mountains of Scranton, PA. Hosted at the historic Montage Mountain, there is so much for you to do during your stay! From morning sound baths, the water park, yoga classes, cacao ceremonies, the holistic fair, comedy shows, and camping with friends, this festival seems to be expanding every single year!

This 2025 festival season will be my third year teaching at NEPA. I am blessed to be amongst such a diverse and talented group of instructors and presenters. The first year I taught at NEPA was in 2023. I have been teaching Vinyasa-style classes next to the lodge each year. I truly look forward to NEPA each year because I get to learn so much from the surrounding students and teachers during my weekend, but also provide my years' worth of growth and knowledge that I couldn't dream of providing..I truly am living a life far past my dreams.

In my first year teaching, I was very nervous. I've been teaching on Long Island to small groups of 5-10 students. At NEPA in my first year, I had about 30 students. I was in shock that students chose to take my class. As we yogis know, the time we spend in yoga class is some of the most peaceful moments we have in our lives. Letting go of extra thoughts that don't need to be within, allowing ourselves to listen to our body, and connect with our breath.

For anyone who may be reading this post who is a yoga instructor visiting NEPA YOGA FEST, I truly encourage you to apply to present a class at next year's festival. I have found joy, community, creativity, knowledge, love, and so much more within this festival. I only wish for others to be able to experience what I have graciously been able to give to others. I was nervous at first, but boy oh boy, now I am jumping over the hills, excited to be a part of the festival yet again!

I'll see you soon,
