Yoga was and is my destiny
This is my story of Abundance through connection..
I found yoga, I’d like to say by accident but there are no accidents.
Twenty some years ago, when my boys were young, I was a busy mom and wife and worked
full time.

I ran everyday and was injured quite regularly.
I was at the gym when I saw a bodybuilder bent over and touching his toes… To this day the
stranger doesn’t know he changed my life..
I asked him how he got so flexible, explaining my running saga and tightness all over.
He told me yoga has changed his life and I must try it.
A few days later I found myself in a yoga class where I immediately fell in love when the teacher
said, “lie on your back and breath”. My mind was crazy busy, my body was beat up ..
Do I have time to just breathe???
And so it began…..
I had no idea how much my life was about to change.
Only a year later my mom passed away…
We all decided we should do something meaningful with the small inheritance we each
received. I knew right away… A yoga retreat…
So I booked my first retreat at Omega institute.. Women of yoga.
Talk about life changing.
I spent the weekend with Seane Corn, Gurmuk, Sharron gannon, Sally Kempan and hundreds
of women. My life was forever changed.
I came home to my family a different person. The person I was meant to be from birth.
Full of life, soulful, a believer of magic and mystical.
I knew there was a yoga teacher in me.
This was back in the day when there were no yoga studios in Clarks Summit or Scranton.
I traveled to Stroudsburg for my training.
Little studio called sundari…
And so it continues.

To this day, I see magic all around me. The magic that yoga has brought me and continues to.
I ventured on to take many paths. Yoga for grief became my passion and remains in my heart.
The places I have gone and the people I have met through yoga is nothing short of a miracle.
I have met thousands of yogis and I am surrounded by wellness, body , mind and spirit.
I thank God everyday as I set out to do my work and ask that I touch each and every soul I
encounter with a warm blessing and healing,Like the bodybuilder in the gym so many years
ago.
Here I thought I was going to yoga to stretch my hamstrings…
